A solar charge regulator, also known as a solar charge controller, is a small electronic device that sits between your solar panel and your battery and enables you to regulate the voltage from your solar panel so that it is distributed as evenly as possible to your battery.
It comes in a range of power ratings to suit your installation. The EZA brand offers you a complete range of solar charge controllers equipped with MPPT technology, which is the most efficient technology available today.
MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology enables the solar panel to operate at its optimum voltage for maximum power output.
This means that the voltage and current produced by the solar panel(s) change according to light levels throughout the day.
On average, MPPT technology is 30% more efficient than conventional PWM technology. This range comprises 4 solar charge controllers available in 10A, 15A, 20A and 40A with 6 output wires. These 4 regulators are all equipped with Bluetooth, so you can monitor and control the various data from your regulator (voltage, current, etc.) via the smartphone application designed specifically for this range of regulators: My E-Solar.
